On behalf of the staff, Board of trustees and residents, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Lima Convalescent Home Foundation web site.
The Lima Convalescent Home Foundation is a nonprofit, nonsectarian, community supported corporation operating a full range of senior citizen health care services.

The Foundation started in the early 1950's when a group of concerned citizen's sought to provide for the elderly and chronically ill. Lochhaven Apartments was built to provide 60 apartments to elder citizens who sought the security of congregate living. Lochhaven was the first facility in the Lima/Allen county area to provide Assisted Living option, becoming licensed with the state of Ohio in 1996. On August 18, 2004 the Lima Convalescent Home was granted certifcation to provide Medicare covered services.

All aspects of Lima Convalescent Home and Lochhaven Apartments continue to enjoy a fine reputation in and around the Lima community. Be assured that you will be cared for by a highly skilled staff, whose primary job is providing care. We believe it is very important to treat not only the physical need, but also the emotional needs as well. At the Lima Convalescent Home Foundation, the residents' needs always comes first!
