A licensed Nursing Home offering several specialty services, including short term rehabilitation care, long term care and memory care. Contained within this site is specific information on each of these services. Opening in 1958, Lima Convalescent Home was the first facility in the area to provide such services. Over the years, we have earned an outstanding reputation for providing excellent care and services to our residents.
Independence, security and peace of mind is what you’ll find at Lochhaven. Within the building, you will find a warm and inviting living room with a fireplace, an activity center, private dining room, library, general store and laundry facilities. The Atmosphere at Lochhaven is friendly and caring. Mingle with your friends in one of the many gathering areas located comfortably throughout the building.

Our amazing and dedicated staff takes the current health situation very seriously, and as usual, our focus is on keeping our residents and staff well. We continue to provide the excellent care we are known for at Lima Convalescent Home, The Greens and Lochhaven Apartments.

In realizing that our residents are not permitted visitors, we have taken extra steps to make sure they have interesting and fun activities throughout the day. Our director maintains regular updates with families via email and phone calls are welcome. This is a difficult time and we want to make sure everyone is well care for in every way possible. We look forward to the day when our quarantine is lifted, but believe this is indeed the best way to keep this virus from spreading.

Many thanks for your understanding in this situation. We appreciate the support we have received from our community!
